Dr. Julia Reinaud
Director, Research Programme and Partnerships
Dr. Reinaud is Director of Industrial Policies of the European Climate Foundation, and is the Director of Research Programme and Partnerships for the new Industrial Innovation for Competitiveness initiative (i24c).
Prior to joining i24c, Julia served as the Institute for Industrial Productivity’s (IIP) Policy and Programs Director and European CEO. Originally hired by the ClimateWorks Foundation to develop IIP’s business plan and set up the organisation in China, US and France, she then led IIP’s policy activities, managing the European IIP team as well as overseeing technology and communication projects undertaken at the global level. Prior to her experience with IIP, she was an energy and climate policy analyst at the International Energy Agency.
Julia has authored or co-authored a number of key publications such as the IEA-IIP Energy Management Programs Policy pathway, as well as written a series of sectorial reports dealing with competitiveness and carbon leakage issues for heavy industries, and the compatibility of policy responses with the World trade Organization.
She has a PhD (with distinction) in Economics and Industrial Organization and a Masters in Corporate Strategy and Industrial Organisation from University Paris Dauphine.
